The Tokyo Station Hotel has received the Best Gourmet Experience Award from the recently held SLH Awards 2018.

Ishihara discovered his love for food since early childhood and was determined to take on the culinary path.
An Executive Chef of the French restaurant of Hotel Metropolitan Edmont, he was chosen as one of the few to serve at Hokkaido Toyako Summit in 2008.
Ishihara joined The Tokyo Station Hotel in 2011 as Executive Chef and presently oversees the hotel portfolio of restaurants, bars and banquet menus.
